Fact: 42% of girls with tattoos say the tattoos make them feel more sexy.
Now I don't know about you, but when I'm on the prowl for a girl to get dirty with, I want someone who feels sexy. A girl with bags of self confidence, who feels like a sex kitten and isn't afraid to leave the lights on and let it all hang out. When I'm on the prowl, I look for girls with ink.
Another statistic from this same poll ('Harris Poll' #58) says 31% of girls with tattoos are up for bisexual fun - now you show me a heterosexual guy who doesn't want to have a threesome with two bi babes, and I'll show you a liar. For a girl, getting a tattoo shows a certain sense of adventurousness, a hint of rebellion, a desire to have fun. It makes sense that these same babes are often more open minded sexually.
The massive popularity of sites like Suicide Girls (pierced and tattooed pin up babes) in recent years might explain why tattoos are becoming increasingly popular among adult stars, who are realising that you don't have to look like a 'pornstar' in order to be one. Harmony, the biggest sex shop in London, recently had an 8 metre high graphic of Belladonna in the window, with the large colourful tattoo curving around her breast proudly out on display, attracting a whole new wave of porn fans to the idea of hardcore girls who go under the gun. With pornography constantly pushing the boundaries of convention and finding new markets to appeal to, it's no surprise that these girls with character and visible individuality have taken the industry by storm. With their own styles, their own personalities, they don't care if you're shocked by the idea - girls with body art are here to stay.
Despite popular belief among certain fans, pornbabes do actually have lives outside of those 20 minute scenes you watch - their bodies are their own, to do with as they wish. When I got a big new tattoo on my arm, I knew I may lose work, but I wanted it. I didn't think to myself, 'Hold on, Isabel, someone may not like this, so you better not get it.' It's the same when I go on set - I don't think to myself, 'How can I please everyone else?' I think first about how I can get my rocks off, and second that I hope everyone else had fun." The fact of the matter is, just because they're there for your viewing pleasure, doesn't mean pornstars don't have the right to express themselves. Traditionally, tattoos aren't viewed as feminine, and there's even a belief that girls with tattoos are more slutty than those without. But is that really such a bad thing?
