All of us use our bodies when we have sex. Even if it's the purest form of cybersex -- even if the only things touching anything are your fingers touching the keyboard -- you're still getting flooded with those feel-good chemicals that make us crave pleasure again and again. But for some, the body isn't a tool used to make them feel good, but an idol, an ideal -- something to worship, in fact.

We've all heard the old saw about our body being a temple, but most of us don't take it seriously. In fact, I'd bet that most of you -- like me -- see it less as a temple and more as a ramshackle, but serviceable, machine. It may not be a Ferrari, but it damn well runs! Well, maybe we should look at the people who really do treat their body as a place of worship...the guys who enjoy engaging in body worship.

It was only recently that Little Britain’s Matt Lucas announced the ending of his civil partnership and the beginning of the first gay celebrity divorce.
