Opera Singer's Anthem 'Cock' Up

An English Opera Singer made an X-rated error when performing the Croatian nation anthem in their successful Euro 2008 match against England.

Tony Henry, who performed in front of an 80,000 strong crowd before the match, made the amusing mistake when he mis-pronounced one line of the song.

Instead of singing 'Mila kuda si planina' (which roughly translates as 'You know my dear how we love your mountains') Henry came out with 'Mila kura si planina', which has the considerably ruder translation of 'My dear, my penis is a mountain'.

The operatic cock up may appears to have worked out well for both Tony Henry and the Croatian football team. Fans believe that the mistake relaxed and entertained the Croatian team, getting them in the perfect mood to play a winning game.

The signer, who has performed at stadiums all over the world, may now be invited to attend the Euro 2008 finals as a mascot for the Croatian team.
