No Sex Please, We're Vegan Vegans in New Zealand are taking their love of ethical eating to a new and extreme level - by refusing to have sex with anyone who eats meat. Vegans choose not to eat or use any animal products, meaning they exclude meat, dairy and leather from their lives. This new variation on the cruelty-free lifestyle has been dubbed 'Vegansexual' and it's supporters believe that the bodies of meat-eaters are made up of dead animal carcasses. This new way of thinking was discovered during research into Cruelty Free living by Annie Potts. Respondents to her study claimed that whilst they found themselves attracted to meat eaters, they could not bare the thought of being physically close to them. One of the women Potts interviewed said "I would not want to be intimate with someone whose body is literally made up from the bodies of others who have died for their sustenance," Source: Stuff.co.nz |
