Sextoys.co.uk launch Operation Orgasm for National Orgasm Day

Helping women orgasm across the nation!

A recent survey by sextoys.co.uk revealed that 12.9% of women have never experienced the big ‘O’. So with National Orgasm day looming, it could seem for those women, that there’s not much to celebrate.

Wrong! “If you’ve never experienced an orgasm, don’t panic,” says Rachel Foux, Relate Trained Sex Therapist, “there are lots of things you can do and you’re certainly not alone.” During her years as a therapist Rachel has helped many women who have struggled to achieve orgasm to reach that special place.

Rachel compares an orgasm to the peak moment of a roller coaster ride. You climb up and up as your body is aroused until finally you drop over the edge with a large bang. As well as an overwhelming feeling of satisfaction and well being, an orgasm can also bring fantastic health and beauty benefits such as glowing skin and a boosted immune system.

So why is it that so many women are missing out on the benefits that orgasms can bring?

“Stress and anxiety are our biggest enemies,” states Rachel, “and with the modern day woman trying to have everything, they sadly play a big part in most women’s lives.” Rachel says the key is to relax and to not worry about why, how or if. She suggests the best form of discovering what turns you on is through masturbation. A recent survey of sextoys.co.uk web visitors confirmed this with over 50% of women surveyed saying that they experienced their first orgasm by themselves and a further 11% saying that it was with a vibrator.

So, with this in mind, and to celebrate National Orgasm Day, sextoys.co.uk is launching Operation Orgasm, a campaign set to open the opportunity of orgasm to every woman.

They will then be asked to report back on how long it took them to achieve their goal.
